Question 1
When Naomi and Owen came to their great-grandma's trailer seven years ago, Owen ahd some problems. His neck was curved and he had a leg shorter than the other. Grandma took him to surgeries and the doctors many times. Now Owen wears tape on his shirt. When Skyla sees it, she tells him to take it off and Naomi defends him. Do you think Owen should of taken it off or do what he did to feel comfortable?

I think that Owen should have left the tape on his chest. Skyla had no right to come in after being gone for seven years and tell Owen what to do. Since she dumped them at Grams, she sould have no say in their life anymore. Yea, she was their mom, but it would be better for her kids if they didnt grow up with her. Owen should not of been pressured to take his tape off, he felt comfortble and thats all that matters.
I think that Owen should have done what he wanted to do and keep the tape on because it is his body so he can do what he wants. I don't think that Skyla had any right to tell someone what to do after being missing for seven whole years. After Owen had been through so much with the doctors the last thing he should have to worry about it tape on his clothes, and Skyla didn't understand because she was never there.
This looks like a good book. Your questions make me want to read it.
